receiptAn interesting bit of ephemera: an original receipt for copy no. 62 of the Burlington Edition of The Majors and Their Marriages, signed by Mr. Cabell. This copy was sold to a Mr. H. C. Adams of New York. He was apparently related to the Patteson family, as that section of his copy is extensively annotated.
